Unit 4: Layers and Plates Level 2

Tasks:  All tasks should be completed by March 27th

Task 1:  Why do the Continents look like they fit together? (Kami)

Use the links below for your class period to open the link in Google Classroom.  You will need to open the pdf in Kami to answer the questions.  Read the information on each of the pages to help you answer the questions for each day of the packet.  You will need to complete all four days of the packet to finish the assignment.  Ensure you press turn in from Kami when you have completed the workbook.  

Task 2:  Plate Boundaries Notes

Get a copy of the note sheet from Mr. Tanner or print out your own copy by clicking on the image of the notes below.  Go through the Peardeck presentation linked below to fill out the blanks in your notes.  

Task 3:  Plate Boundaries Card Sort

Use the links below to open the assignment for your class period.  Open the google slides attached to classroom and read the instructions at the top of the slides.  Once you have correctly sorted all the cards you need to turn in the assignment.  

Task 4:  What happens when continents collide (Kami)

Use the links below for your class period to open the link in Google Classroom.  You will need to open the pdf in Kami to answer the questions.  Read the information on each of the pages to help you answer the questions for each day of the packet.  You will need to complete all four days of the packet to finish the assignment.  Ensure you press turn in from Kami when you have completed the workbook.  

Task 5:  Tectonic Plate Boundaries GimKit

To complete this GimKit assignment you either have to earth $500,000 dollars or answer 80 questions correctly.  You don't need to turn anything in.  Your completion of the assignment is recorded online by GimKit.

Task 6: Notebook Check

Show Mr. Tanner your notebook.  You need to have the following items in the correct order.

Double check that you have completed the following assignments in Google Classroom

Task 7: Level Two Level Up Quiz

Take the following Google Form Quiz as many times as it takes for you to score 100%.  You will not be able to move on to the next section of the unit unless you have scored 100% on the quiz. 

Show Mr. Tanner your 100% quiz score and make sure he records the grade on his grade sheet.  Once this has been done click the button below to continue to Level 3
